Pronouns. Pronouns are words that replace a noun. So in this example, we have a few nouns that are in blue text here. The teacher gave the test to the students. And in this second sentence here we’ve replaced these nouns with pronouns. “She gave it to them“. Here’s this chart that lists pretty much all of the pronouns that you’ll be using in your writing. And we also have additional resources on pronouns.
