Once upon a time, a school teacher questioned her
students, “What is the name of the old gardener who looks
after the school garden?”
The students did not know the name of the old gardener
and left the question unanswered. The next day, when they
arrived, they saw the gardener tending flowers. All the
students went to him and asked his name.
Thereafter, every day they greeted the gardener by calling
his name. This simple recognition from the students,
motivated the gardener so much that he executed his job
with greater diligence and care. He was never absent from
his duties, as daily, he waited impatiently to be greeted by the
students and likewise, to greet them in return. Many times,
he also offered flowers to the students.
