Knowledge if churned like milk results in the butter of wisdom

Once upon a time, the courtiers were jealous of a wise
person, who was fast becoming the favorite of the king, due
to his wise sayings.

One day they poisoned the mind of the king and the king
ordered the wise man, “Tell me, what is the difference
between knowledge and wisdom? If you cannot, you will be
beheaded.”

The courtiers were very pleased. The wise man looked at
the courtiers and understood that it was their handiwork.

Then the wise man said, “Knowledge is knowing that
war is unavoidable; whereas wisdom is winning the war
without fighting. Knowledge is the person desiring to change
the world; whereas wisdom is the person who changes
himself to change the world. Knowledge is knowing that
jealous persons may incite to act otherwise; whereas wisdom
is refraining to act otherwise.”

The king spared the life of the wise man and punished
the jealous courtiers.
