Criticizing is easy, performing is difficult

Once upon a time, a painter put up a painting on a road.
He kept a pencil beside the painting. Then he kept a sign
which read, “Please use the pencil to circle the area,
wherever you may find a flaw in the painting.”

At the end of the day when the painter came, he saw the
painting was filled with innumerable circles of various sizes.

The next day, the painter put up another painting on the
road. He kept a box of colors and a brush beside the
painting. Then he kept a sign which read, “Please use the
box of colors and brush to repaint the area, wherever you
may find a flaw in the painting.”

At the end of the day when the painter came, he saw the
painting was untouched.
