Conflicts have small beginnings

Once upon a time, a worker and a line manager were at
loggerheads over an issue. A routine brain-storming session
turned into a heated debate, which turned into an angry
argument. The angry argument flared up into a furious
confrontation. This further deteriorated into personal attacks
and recriminations from both sides started flying around.

The situation went on worsening and ultimately, the
line manager issued a show cause notice to the worker, for
disobedience and rude behavior. The worker did not
respond to the show cause notice and took up the issue with
the worker’s union. The line manager similarly notified the
higher management about the details of the conflict.

After a lot of negotiations, tension and pain, the matter
was settled amicably. The line manager was transferred to
another department. The worker left the company and
joined another company.
