4.20 Chanakya Niti

अग्निर्देवो द्विजातीनां मुनीनां हृदि दैवतम् ।
प्रतिमा स्वल्पबुद्धीनां सर्वत्र समदर्शिनः ॥४.२०॥

agnirdevo dvijātīnāṃ munīnāṃ hṛdi daivatam |
pratimā svalpabuddhīnāṃ sarvatra samadarśinaḥ ||4.20||

fire is the god for the Brahmin; the heart is the god for the devotee; the idol is the god for the less intelligent; everywhere is god for one who sees equality
