साधुभ्यस्ते निवर्तन्ते पुत्रमित्राणि बान्धवाः ।
ये च तैः सह गन्तारस्तद्धर्मात्सुकृतं कुलम् ॥४.२॥
sādhubhyaste nivartante putramitrāṇi bāndhavāḥ |
ye ca taiḥ saha gantārastaddharmātsukṛtaṃ kulam ||4.2||
mixing with saints is hindered due to sons, friends, and relatives; but those who mix with them gain righteousness, and in a good manner are able to form their families
[sons, friends, and relatives fear that one might leave the worldly life and become a saint, if one mixes with saints. However, saintly association has its benefits.]
