3.7 Chanakya Niti

मूर्खस्तु प्रहर्तव्यः प्रत्यक्षो द्विपदः पशुः ।
भिद्यते वाक्यशल्येन अदृशं कण्टकं यथा ॥३.७॥

mūrkhastu prahartavyaḥ pratyakṣo dvipadaḥ paśuḥ |
bhidyate vākyaśalyena adṛśaṃ kaṇṭakaṃ yathā ||3.7||

a fool should be kept afar, for he is a mere two-legged beast, whose inappropriate sharp words pierces like an unseen thorn
